Bonnie got her 1st Comprehensive Certification in 2001 with Power Pilates where she was mentored by 2nd generation Bob Liekens. She received a 2nd Comprehensive Certification from Real Pilates in 2014, where she was a lead teacher trainer. After teaching in the NYC metro area until 2023, she moved to Maryland to be with family.

Bonnie holds a BA in Dance from Adelphi University where she was also an adjunct professor teaching the dance majors classical mat Pilates as part of their curriculum. When not teaching Pilates, Bonnie enjoys weight lifting, playing piano, spending time with her family and her calico cat named Chewie.
