Clients are responsible for cancelling their scheduled session. Please visit the Schedule Page to cancel OR the Help Page for instructions.
Chesapeake Pilates Center requires 24 hour notice if the participant can not make it to class or training appointment. This allows the trainer to either fill the spot with another participant or adjust their schedule. Of course we understand when emergencies happen, but please be respectful to the studio and instructors valuable time. If emergencies happen, please call or text us ASAP at 443-333-9731. Abuse of this policy will result in the participant being charged the full rate.

and what not to wear…
Wear comfortable, fitted exercise clothes which allows full range of motion and allows instructor to see muscle use and alignment. Men can wear bike style shorts with work out shorts over top. Don’t wear anything that is too baggy which may be revealing or get caught in the equipment.
Shoes are not worn during pilates workouts. Barefoot or socks with a special tread on the bottom is recommended so as not to slip on the flooring.
No jewelry or sharp objects like zippers on your clothing. It can damage our upholstery.
Please do not wear perfumes, oils, (even natural ones), or other strongly scented body products as many people are sensitive to scents.

If the client does not use the allotted sessions in a purchased monthly package, sessions used will be charged at appropriate rate and the difference will be credited to your account.

Please do not wear street shoes in and through the studio. Cubbies are provided in the front for personal belongings. We keep the front door locked even when we are in the studio for safety.
Please keep your cell phones with your other belongings and on silent mode. If you need to keep your cell phone on for emergencies, please keep it on vibrate and out of the way when on the floor. Resist checking for messages during class.
Out of respect for other students and instructors, quietly enjoy your conversations. We are an open studio and voices carry. As class begins, let go of conversations.

Please respect the equipment. Be mindful of mounting, dismounting, docking and transitioning. Try not to bang the equipment or suddenly release springs. Close the springs with control before releasing. Remember, Joe Pilates named his form of exercise contrology.
Keep clothing, body and hair free from all moving parts. No necklaces or other loose, hanging jewelry. No sharp edges on upholstery.
Nothing on the floor that someone can trip or slip on.
