Pilates for a Cause
CPC held the inaugural Pilates for a Cause on October 24th. This special Happy Hour and donation fundraiser was held in support of the new documentary SPENT The Hidden Cost of Dementia.
In 2016 Daphne lost her mother Betty to vascular dementia. The four year battle emotionally devastated and financially blindsided her and her family. Owners of an award winning media production company, Daphne and her husband Bob are telling their story by producing a documentary. The goal of this venture is to raise awareness of the many costs of this disease to the public and policy makers, as well as offer support to affected families. SPENT The Hidden Cost of Dementia will break down stigmas, start a dialogue, and influence change.
Money raised will go towards final stages for its debut on public television and for community outreach to both corporate and non-profit organizations. Donations of over $50 will be entered into a raffle for a free private session with DAPHNE
