Tour the Studio

Locally owned and operated, Chesapeake Pilates Center is conveniently located in Arundel Plaza off route 2 in Annapolis between the Harbour Center and Town Center.

Renovated before opening in January of 2016, the studio feels open yet intimate in a spa like setting.  Clients say our beautiful space helps them to feel calm and focussed.

Our culture is encouraging and supportive from both staff and fellow clientele.

Chesapeake Pilates Center is fully equipped with all the traditional apparatus built by Gratz, Basil and Peak.

Tour the Studio

Leave the stress outside and take a moment to breath in our reception and waiting area.  CPC’s owner Stefanie named the studio after her Chesapeake Bay Retrievers.   Spike and Rocky make rare appearances.

The Reformer is the most popular of Joe Pilates inventions.  It is a moving carriage on wheels connected to the frame by springs.
CPC has a total of 5 reformers

Our newest addition is the lesser known Guillotine.  Joe Pilates created this member of the tower/cadillac family to fit in doorways.  Pilates exercises done on here helps with muscle balance and symmetry.

The Cadillac is one of the most versatile pieces of pilates equipment.  Imagine a single bed with scaffolding and springs connected for resistance.  Acrobatic and inversion moves can be done on the upper parallel bars.

The Tower is the Cadillac without all the scaffolding.  This versatile piece has a high mat at the base where you can stand, sit, kneel or lie down to perform exercises.

We have 3 Tower units in our back room and one connected to the base of a reformer.  Four Spine Correctors of the barrel family are stored hanging on the wall.
